I had a subscription for 200 searches i think, but used them quite quick. Mostly I searched my own records as an ego trip. There is a SNG selector which shows you which SNG's are fishiest - it will give you an idea of which players are good and which ones are poor (though you cab usually work that out in 5 hands to be honest). Some of the players stats are barely believable - i've seen a number of 5 figure SNG losses, the biggest lost was $60K+. Problem is, the $10 and under ones are free but the games fill up before you can get in, and the $30+ ones cost 3 searches (and fishy as they are, may be out of your roll) with the ones in between costing one search - i would do a search, no decent games, try again a few minutes later - game, but already full, try again, and lose 3 searches for nothing. 
 
It's only $9 though for cheapest one off subscription (with a number of free sign up offers) and you can do lots of searches on players past performance / strengths etc, so i'd recommend having a look if you're nosey like me - i dont think i'll bother paying again though.
