sorry, just to give my point of view:
Poker is an art, its a skill, learnt over years and years of play. It takes 5 minutes to learn, and a lifetime to master(to quote someone). It's a sport. You need practice, focus, and concentration. You have to put the hours in to improve at it. You have to devour books. You have to participate on a
poker forum(cardschat!). And what sport can you say, 'hey, I'm no good at this, but I own some computer software that's gonna play for me, is that alright?'. None.
And where's the fun in that, letting a bot play? Where's the passion? You know, when you're sat at work, bored, then you remember you have a game after work and you get excited, whether its online or bricks and mortar. And work is not so bad after all, except that the minutes drag.
And the adrenalin builds as you log on/enter the casino:Will I win?, will I get some good cards? Will there be fish there? etc. that fires up my heart. thats passion. I'm not in dreamworld, I know I'll never be a pro, cause I'm not good enough, but when you take a nut hand to the river and show it down, it doesnt matter whether it's the
wsop final for $10million+, or a .02./.04 with a pot of 76 cents. It's the rush.
Finally, tell me a sport that after a year of learning this game online(Im new to it), for enough money($10000) I could sit down with Doyle Brunson at the WSOP and hear those immortal words' 'Dealers, let's shuffle up and play', and not only sit down with him, but maybe go to the river and say,' Well, actually Doyle, I DO have 4 Aces. sorry!'
Soccer? play in the world cup final? No chance
American football? Kick the winner in the superbowl? yeah right.
100m final at the Olympics. get out of here.
And you want to buy a bot to play poker for you? WTF??? If you want money that desperately, email a porn site, tell them you blow sheep or something, I guarantee they would pay you for it, and more than a bot would ever earn for you.
Leave poker alone. It's a game for people with passion, with a desire for the rush, for the excitement.
Not for a*seholes who want to scam other people.
I'm glad you, the potential scammer, got scammed.
They call it karma, look it up.
(Sorry if people think this is harsh, but it's not just directed at the poster of this thread, but anyone and everyone who has the urge to cheat at poker)
