At this point I am not even able to do a system restore. I never get to a spot that prompts me to have ANY options. The startup recovery scan literally NEVER stops. I have been so busy with work and stuff I have had little time to try and fix it. I guess that is my weekend project. So you are all saying that I need a start up CD and use that to get into a system restore?

Well, that is what some are saying. Then some are saying to use chkdsk to check your disk for errors. Then some others are saying to just run a LiveCD, back up your important files and wipe everything and start anew Your choice, lol.

lol. Thanks again everyone. I know I keep saying it, but all advice is very much welcome. I have no important files to be honest...although I would love to keep my poker stuff. I just don't have the CD's to do a total reformat.
