I know we have a few players on the site who stack their tables, so wanted to ask a question that thought about as it's something i ran into a number of times back at one point last year when just using my laptop and used to stack my tables in running Fifty50 games.

Whatever the reason might be, I would time out (sometimes was an internet issue and would time out on all tables). I found this to be a real pita because I would have to then try and click "I'm back" to get back into the hand and therefore have my tables activate to the front. Maybe I am missing something and there is a quicker way to do this than to have to throw the tables all over my screen while clicking the "I'm back"?

Most specifically, it ocurred on a couple of occassions where I had timed out of only a single table but didn't notice it and got blinded out. Again because it sit's me out it never comes to action for the table and with stacking I won't see it until other tables are closed. I got in the habit of checking quickly in the task bar to see if I could see any sitting out but still sometimes hard to tell with the itty bitty window, so then got in the habbit of occasionaly moving all the tables from one side of the laptop screen to the other.

Please tell me there is an easier way for if I was to decide to go back to stacking tables? Can currently fit 16 on my monitor but has a fair amount of overlap but its kinda all over the place and was thinking maybe I should attempt to stack again.

Any feedback appreciated, also I'm guessing table ninja is prb something that can help with this but hoping there is a non cost alternative to the pita I had with stacking. Thanks All

Thanks Steve, I'll have to download and give it a whirl this evening then. Perhaps it will hook me into a future purchase.

I think that's the idea ..lol

Tried to test this out last night, downloaded and installed and came up to create an account for a 60 day trail. Fill in the info (they didn't even have my Territory, shows how up to date that is lol), but anyhow upon clicking the create account I got an error message that it couldn't do it try again later POS lol.

Prb try again this evening but not a good start to them trying to get me interested in any kind of a purchase haha.

On Mac you can press cmd+` to cycle through the tables, must be a similar keyboard shortcut for PC to do this. Look in the drop down menu in the Stars client, it's probably there. Also used to do cmd+9 to tile, and cmd+8 to restack, and cmd+3 to snap back to a saved layout. Those are useful too.

On Windows PC's, Ctrl usually performs the same function as cmd

Give Ctrl+ a go Dave.

Ah true, duh on me never really thought to use the alt+tab which will go to the next open window that could quicly scroll through them that way.

Thanks for the spike to my member mm, I will also have a look and see if any of those in stars client, only two days ago realized I could save my layout as I was always complaining that I wish stars was like ftp and remembered how you have your tables resized and stuff LOL. Then poked around and was like OH SHIT I'm a DUMBASS I should have just looked for it haha. Horrible to not know the software I'm using that well considering I'm a techie, fwiw I think my current job is making me fn stupid.

Many many thanks I'll tinker around some more tonight with it :D
