Don't waste your time, ppp is garbage. You used to be able to win gift cards there, but they got rid of it. Once I got a laptop and rediscovered ACR, I donked off all of my money on ppp. I wish you had been there before, I would've thrown some your way. I joined fake tourneys and rebought a bunch of times in order to lose all my chips quickly. Everyone was bugging out at it.
But if you actually want to play real poker, go elsewhere.

My Experience with PPPoker

Just sharing my experience with PPPoker in case it helps anyone.

The system isn't really an online poker site in the "traditional" sense of the word. It does have an online free/play site that operates like many others - log in and play for free, get free coins every day, pay for special upgrades, etc. but the other side of the system is completely different. You can play for money but the site/PPPoker does not regulate that or do anything other than provide a platform for private Clubs to be created. The PPPoker software owners don't do any table management, banking, etc. They just offer a platform for the private clubs to operate on. They DO sell "diamonds" to Clubs and diamonds convert into player chips that the Clubs can distribute to their members to play with. Every time a Club distributes player chips to it's members, there is a 5% "surcharge" on those chips, so the Club will have to buy more diamonds to replenish their chips....but again, the folks at PPPoker are not responsible for managing the players money and are not endorsing any illegal gambling activity.

Clubs can also pay for upgrades to join Unions, which basically means that members of Clubs that are in Unions can play in other clubs. There are agents and websites out there that will direct you to Clubs. I'm sure they charge a fee. I have not really gotten into that part for our Club and don't really plan to - we will stay a small private group. I am just now requesting to join the first Club with people in it that I don't know but that won't involve the other players in my group, as each club is completely independant and I'm using my personal account to join. We'll see how that turns out.

My personal interaction with the system evolved because of COVID. I have had a monthly home tournament running for about 8 years. Just a $20 tournament with friends - usually one table, sometimes two. Mostly social, but really fun for all who players. When Covid hit, that went out the window, so I started looking to see if there were any online alternatives that would allow a private group of friends to play. If you don't know, there are not many.

I came across PPPoker and, though they don't give you a whole lot of guidance on how to run a club, the general description sounded like it fit the bill. Turns out that it does, very nicely. You can create a private club with up to 30 members and it is basically free. I've been playing weekly with our group (since COVID keeps us indoors, we decided weekly is better than monthly) with the PPPoker App up and a Zoom meeting up at the same time and we all love it. They players send me their buy-ins through Pay-Pal, Venmo or Zelle and I send their payouts the same way.

So far I have not had to spend a dime on the Players Chips, but I will have to eventually. Remember, we are playing a $20 buy-in tournament and, when we do play cash, its for $0.10/$0.20 blinds, so we are not going through those chips very fast. You get a pretty good amount of chips when you open your club and don't have to buy any more until they run out. You also get to set the rake structure of your Club's game and mine is set to the very lowest rake (though I'm sure the for-profit clubs are set higher) because I'm not using the site to make money, just for a social game with a local group of guys.

They do have a FAQ and some information on their site for learning how to play, but you will most likely have a little trial and error to figure out how to use the system. It took me and my group a few sessions to really understand all the controls and options. They did do a pretty good job in my opinion of making a comprehensive system that lets you play and organize cash games and tournaments in Holdem, PLO (Hi or Hi/Lo) and open face Chinese Poker. There are some things I'd like the system to do, but generally speaking, I've been very happy with it.

Good luck to all!

I play with a few friends on pppoker, and also on "realcards poker" , I must say that pppoker keeps disconnecting/latency issues, so not impressed at all, maybe it has too much graphics ? , realcards poker though has been fine, not once diconnected, play fine for hours :)
.
as above notes, these are for private clubs mostly, so pay and receive with friends or facebook groups

To me pppoker is a good room to make homegames and share a time with any group or page, but I don't take it so serious.

Is very easy to make a poker room in pppoker, by this way will be a lot of profiteers trying to earn easy money, they will make good promotions and bonus, and offer incridible table games, but with no regulations they can kick out you from their room and get your money.

I was expelled from a room once, without motive, only because I had not loged for 3 days, I had not make a deposit.

You need to analyze with very atention what room are you tryng to join, don't make deposit without know another players that play and have made successful withdraw. All the Information from the responsible need to be ok, any doub or
lack of information about those responsible may indicate a problem or fraud, the best in theses cases is to avoid theses rooms.

If you are thinking in play homegames, you need to consider the option of play in the pokerstars or in the partypoker, perhaps it is the most suitable for your case.

Its rigged.....the site will pick on you as a player if you make any bad feedback to the system...they give you hi card's in specific situations like your only playable hi cards in 50 hands and the entire table will fold...yr up against a bb no matter what the flop makes his hand unfoldable..could be set of 88s or he has 9J flop 896turn 7 river 10 he has top pair so will call yr continuation bet....they give you a flush draw...so you call then put a straight on the board....so you think your slpitting...unless he has one card in the deck a J...and its ALWAYS the case....just lost with this hand...udually I have less than 2 overs in 50 hand's they repeat the Q5 Q7 s etc 95s 94s so your getting most of your hands twice but usually 3 time's to 5 times so you're playing bottom 5% of card's....in 70 cards you'll get shit repeats for 40 of them or 39...to be precise or more....your hi cards if you get them are dominated....and your suited connectors are usually low 23 , 34, 78....not 67 and you don't see 9J suited, 67 can be a goid straight you know where you stand and you dominate smaller straights but more people call with higher cards so 78 you hiy 78910J your usually dead.....even 56789 because higher cards are given to their regulars who haven't got on their bad side....so someone will have the 10....I just played the $30 deep freeze...I got the AK...vs straight on board...and lost a lot....I started getting the usual say 4 hands were Q5,Q5,105,94 etc I complained I never get hi suited card's....only 34 92 95 real dog hands in next minute I get AK 💎 diamonds....your low stacked they know you'll use it....they gave several people the cards to win if u call the flop won't suit the actual flop was 3J7 two spades 4 turn river 5 spades no doubt the bb sb or utg callers completed straights but the kojack caller had 88s preflop and tripple yr stack...so he wins...either way it looked like one of their ppp poker police set it up....with regards to my comment.....you be the judge but if they give certain player's only unsuited hi low cards so at the end if a toyrnie 50 hands lucky if you could play AJ and only 1 low pair...six handed at 30k and 15k blinds that's like close to 400k so you are basically blinded out.....i see players raising and calling...calling calling every hand almost so they must give a greater percentage of jo cards to some......they also have standard shit cards for plot like unsuited K823....78K4...95K2...
Cards that don't connect...no pair's bugger all hi card's compared to other who have duited AKQQ as a starting hand....someone very clever at manipulating card's and algorithms work there..
In Holdem poker you'll get repeats 23,,25,26,28 ,29,2J,2Q,2K,2A...but miss 27 & 24 so your not getting every 2..same with 3s you'll get K3, J3, A3, Q3....invariably with some lower but you'll repeat K3, K3,K3, Q3Q3,73,73,73,73 25, 25, 25, 26,26,26, 102,102 , 53,53 you get the picture...your relief hands are 84 , 85suited 95 suited....J7, Q7 h as nds you can use and when you get AK well....yiur no good you get JJ it's vs QQ yiu get 1010 Its vs KK and the majority of your hi cards come either utg or mp7 mp6...or if they want you out so you don't get the bubble or min pay you'll get suited overs in yr big blind but like AK spades vs AA something sneaky or the guy gets K❤️J ♠️ unfoldsble flop ❤️❤️❤️ and top pair J.....hit vs your AQ diamonds 💎 invariably you get nothing they get ****ing miracle flops....usually at least 2 suited cards they have but plus top pair or a set....or a straight on the flop.....but the table is active....very active...you just can't see with your 70 hands and 40 repeating shit the rest shit and a cple random QJ that are dominated what they are playing you with but like every 2nd hand...a few players are fighting over a hi flop...but yr not....its uncanny Id say they give some of yr hi cards away.....to other player's so you repeat a lot of hi low Q7, Q7, Q7 even 3 times in five hand's.....plus 37...so it's possible to write software where certain players are disadvantaged. And its pretty clear this site practice it.....its their site protection police...they keep rrgulars happy...check out their multiple tournament wins....they can't lose...not with getting AQ, AQ, KK, J10 suited in four hands etc compared to the dogshit they give some....Q7, Q7, 37,Q7,39....you'll struggle.
If you do join .....never complain..... they won't take you off the bad book's....I play tournament there I make the money with pure bluffs but after that it becomesdifficult.....blinds hi and your stack low....and good hands seem to be traps
