[QUOTE="Poker Orifice, post: 7048689, member: 33113"] Because you 'believe it'. Because maybe that's the case for yourself? Because personally I believe that 90% of the money won from CC freerolls was NOT put back on the site. IF it had been, I don't know if Pokerstars would've stopped offering the games. I hate to break it to you but 'simple users' (in this case let's be honest, we're referring to NON-DEPOSITING FREEROLLERS) do NOT bring 'money' to the rooms. IF they did, do you honestly think Pokerstars would cease offering freerolls? I have a feeling that they have some staff that is far more experienced regarding this stuff than someone like myself. At one point in time (YEARS ago during the poker boom), offering up Freerolls was a great way to 'introduce' players to a poker site, to get them playing on there for REAL money, in hopes that they would actually move towards becoming a 'DEPOSITING REAL MONEY PLAYER' (real money.. not 'penny player'). Maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps they've just made the biggest mistake EVER by cancelling the freerolls. Here's a question for you (& others). If offering up the Freerolls is a great business decision, then why doesn't GGPoker have any freerolls going? (and yet they've become the largest online site in the world...... hmm.. so confusing). And why is it that CC members aren't complaining about GGPoker? I mean GG only offered freerolls to CC members for a very short period of time (compared with what Pokerstars offered). And yet they are just given a pass? What I find disturbing is posts suggesting that Pokerstars is done (or will be done soon), or it is the worst site ever, etc. etc. etc. So much trashing of the site. Meanwhile, a year ago when they were offering up games DAILY to CC members, the freerollers thought Pokerstars was the GREATEST site ever! Help a person out for awhile... they'll tell you that you're the best person EVER! Stop giving them money and all of a sudden you are a TERRIBLE person... and everything you've given them up to this point in time all of a sudden means absolutely nothing. If you want to call this being a fanboy... fly at 'er. fwiw, I'm not a big fan of the Pokerstars site. They were never my favorite in my 17yrs. of playing online poker. And they certainly dropped way down the list when they changed their Rewards Program, ripping off a bunch of their most dedicated regular players. And when they chose to raise the rake & tourney fees on the micro & Low buyin games. < This was absolutely shooting themselve's in the foot. (what a shame!). And for those on here who seem to want Pokerstars to fail (and 'end'), I hate to break it to you but this would be very bad for online poker. Not only would it limit where people can play, & not only would it eliminate Mixed Games Tournaments... and some Great series that run (WCOOP, SCOOP), but it would also eliminate competition and GGPoker would (could... or maybe already is starting to be) become a Monopoly (similar to what happened to online poker from Pokerstars and the 'more rake is good' B.S.).
