Whenever I'm facing this kind of opponent...
WhatIsThis
...in a 25 cent game !!!

I can't help but wonder - what the **** is going on
Am I playing against house bot ???

Surely that player's time is better spent in games that bring higher hourly rate.

You only have 18 hands on that player, and learning some preflop charts dont take that much time. Also some people are obsessed with the idea of "building a bankroll from zero". In fact this forum is full of them ;)

I have a hard time understanding your comment
Actually I'm doing well enough in those and that opponent bubbled, but even that is beside the point.

Most of the players in those games have total winnings between zero and few hundred dollars, and some maybe up to 2-3k.
But when a player with total winnings over $133k shows up, something doesn't add up.

So let's humor ourselves for a moment and break down what is seen in that screenshot.

The player has played 171986 of those games.
The player has total winnings $133331,20.
The player has won $63651,78 in bounties.
$133331,20 minus $63651,58 equals $69679,62.

With almost 172k games played we can assume the player grinds mainly those games.
And what are the actual prizes in those 25 cent mystery bounties?
$1 for the first.
$0.75 for the second.
$0.50 for the third.

Since we already deducted the bounties from the total winnings let's calculate how much that player would have needed to win (as actual prize money) on average in those 171986 games.

$63651,58 divided by 171986 games = 37 cents in actual prize money.

Let's give the player benefit of the doubt and assume the player won second place IN EVERY OTHER GAME.
171986 divided by 2 equals 85993 games. That times $0.75 win makes $64494,75 which is in the same ball park.
We could calculate this other ways too but you probably catch my drift.

Considering the high variance and lucky suck outs in that game - nobody is that lucky.
Similar "whales" pop-up in 25 cent spin tables too.

I was focusing on the top part of the picture and missed the information about number of games played etc. But yeah it makes no sense to play 171k games for an average of less than a dollar and not even try to move up :)

This statistic most certainly shows games played on all limits in that specific format. he was probably playing with his daily freebie ticket or just goofing around.

The problem is, that he played 171k in all buy-in limits of the Mystery Bounty Royale.

It's totally possible it's just grinder cause you can get a jackpot bounty there and they have daily leaderboard.

Well alrighty, dude plays a lot of those games.... ok then, theories so far seem to be.....

the number one poker site in the world felt the need to boost numbers with a "house bot",

or someone else is running a bot, or he hit a nice jackpot, or he's scared of moving up,

or he just likes those games...., it's a mystery I can live with😎👍

The statistic shows all games of this format on ALL buy-in levels played. End of story. Probably too much data for OP to figure this out himself.

No theories. Just a thought thrown in the air.
But when one compares how HighStakesDB calculates site traffic and what kind of numbers are displayed in the poker client...
It is at least qurious that during peak hours when they display having 450k - 600k+ users they still manage to sometimes have overlay on tourneys that are within the grasp of most people.
Probably too much data for OP to figure this out himself.
Oh, I'm not that easily provoked.

🤗

The numbers u see on GG are players at the tables and not the actual traffic.

For example: u play 4 tables, u count 4 times to that number.
