Isn't 14% rake to high?

I like SnG format double or nothing, but 14% rake looks to much, instead of double you get 2/3. They have some program for rake back but its not good. For 10e you receive spin from, with average rake back 12.5 , and mountly tournanmet which is 10k, you receive ticket freerooll to 1.5e , 1.5e to 11e, than 11e is D1 bounty tourn to D2 10k GTD,

Yes its way to much. For a fast and low edge format like DoN you dont want to pay much more than 5% rake. Otherwise it becomes almost impossible to show a long term profit. If you only play for fun, then it obviously does not matter. Casino games are also unbeatable, and yet people still play them for entertainment.

It is high, but the main reason is the structure. Remember that your edge is proportional to how many hands you play. This means that fast tournaments need to have lower rake to be fair. If I'm seeing this right, in this tournament you're starting with 75BB and blinds raise every 4 minutes. This is an extremely fast tournament, so a fair rake would be, idk, 4% maybe.

If you're playing to earn money, my advise would be to never play this tournament.

The 1€ and 2€ SnGs are trap to enslave the lower educated, you can avoid this by:

Only playing 0,50€, 5€, 10€, 20€ SnGs there. 50€s if you get a ticket. (Hint: MTT Satellite victories can be used on SnGs too)

14% in dons make them unprofitable for most of the players.

A lot of smaller sites have really crazy high tourney rakes these days.

Dont play those high rake games unless you got a huge edge or really enjoy playing the games.

yea, you are right 0.5 has 10%rake. 5e,10e,20e,50e has 9%rake. But still looks to much, there is no LB for SnG. Maybe for that no so many grinders.
They have nice advertisment on League of Champions, instead of take chance now to catch train with high pool, they may loss existing players.
In GGpoker is 7.5% for spin and gold which is hyper format same as Twister, but you receive rake back from LB, chance to participate in 100k freeroll everyday, and Fish buffet. Or Mystery Battle Royal ( little tournament 18player) has 8% rake which have LB and Fish buffet for return rake.

Not really, 10ke freeroll in 1month, every day 4x25e and 1x50e freeroll tournaments with 1-3k players and Rake spin (for every 10e you get avrg 1.25e)
For other format have Leaderboard but for S'n'G nothing, only high rake.

Well dont play them then. 9% is still to much for a DoN format, especially as the more expensive games will likely have tougher fields.

Too high yes, but people will still play them so they will continue to have the high rakes that they have.
