How Do You Backup Your Pokerstars Setting Files?

I want to uninstall stars and reinstall stars as I have lot of issues with the software. Does anyone here have this issue every single time when they close the star software where it shows on top left corner pokerstars Lobby (Not Responding) where when you close stars, it shows that and freezes for a bit every single time before the software closes? It has never closed smoothly ever. It always does that.

I want to make sure I save my stars settings where when I reinstall it, it would have my same settings.



The files show up like this for the stars folder. Can people here confirm copy and paste those 2 bolded things below and save it to either my desktop or a new folder?

Then add/remove programs and uninstall stars? Then download and install stars? Then go to that same stars folder and copy and paste those 2 bolded things to the folder? Then log in? Is that how you do it?

Your best bet may be to contact Stars support, explain to them what you intend to do and what you want to ensure is saved and see what they say in terms of files to copy and move back once you re-install it. I have not done this before, and have reinstalled Stars in the past but I always went back through my settings.

I'd fear if you copied the wrong file over that you could mess up the system configration and lose them anyways, so I'd say ask their support before you try anything.

How do you speak to them on this? So nobody here has recently deleted stars and reinstalled it and kept their backup files?

I want to make sure I save the correct files. Anyone know if it's those 2 files I posted in bold?

It would be better to contact their support directly, and they can give you the latest info on this. Something someone might post that they did here might be out of date, and cause more problems for you.
