Hey CardsChat fam!

Long time no post—excited to be back! Life’s been a whirlwind since becoming a new dad (shoutout to the parent grinders out there šŸ‘‹), but I’ve decided to take poker seriously and carve out time where I can. That means trading late-night sessions for 4 AM alarms: I study until 6 AM, then hit my local poker room here in sweden for some early morning play.

Here’s the kicker: the tables at this hour are unbelievably soft. I expected the dawn patrol to be all nitty regs and pros, but it’s been the opposite—tons of passive play, loose calls, and what feels like a fish buffet. šŸŽ£

Any theories on why this might be? A few guesses:
  • Night owls winding down after late shifts/parties?
  • Or maybe serious players just… sleep? 😓
Fellow early risers, have you noticed this too? Or is my local room just a morning miracle? Let’s discuss!

(And to the parents balancing poker and chaos: solidarity. Coffee is life.) ā˜•
