How do you change the avatar on America's Card Room?

when you hover on your avatar during the game on the table you can click left or right arrows to change your avatar

click on the avatar and scroll threw the characters available

mine stays gray all the options are jsut blank, it wont let me scroll through or nothing, its all blank
