I have many of those same gripes about BOL .  I ran up a nice balance of several hundred dollars over the years playing the friendly freerolls that have now vanished . I slowly came to the realization that since I never made a deposit  , almost none of those funds would be available, ever   !! ( I think 25 bucks worth , or so ,from a few sports bets and video poker winnings  would be available ).I'm sure i've paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars in rake from sng's, MTT and ring game play - all meaningless at this point .So now I  finally  make a $100 deposit via 'online check'  and get hit with a 4.5% charge ( I'ts all instantly electronic of course and cant cost more than a few pennies ). I will admit I knew the fee was involved. I'd better learn bitcoin if I ever qualify for a withdrawal .    I went looking for the tiny 'double or nothing ' 10 handed sng that I used to enjoy , where you had  a decent chance to turn a profit with a rake less than 10% and a reasonable blind period . Alas , those games are now short handed, with a 20 cent rake on $1.50 buyin , with shorter blind levels . That's contrary  ! If the table is shorter , and the time period less , the fee should be less, right ?  Probably statistically almost impossible to overcome now  .  All the tiny stakes sng's I could find seem to have suffered a similar fate. I will add some more complaints soon again , I would guess .
