The World Series of poker online cancelled its $250 Mystery Bounty tournament after 'technical difficulties'. Some players who made the second day were able to play while others in the same position were not. There didn't appear to be a better solution than to cancel the event, and wsop Online posted the statement below:
“Today’s restart of Online Bracelet Event #7 encountered technical difficulties, which resulted in a high number of players unable to log in for the tournament. Therefore, the tournament has been cancelled and all players who were in the field on the start of Day 2 will be contacted.”
Soon after, WSOP Online sent out an apology email to all the players involved, which is found in the article linked below.
