I prefer freeze-outs! My first experience with this where it mattered was winning a ticket to the Sunday Milly or whatever it was called on ACR in dec, 2016 thanks to some luck in a CC satellite event. IF I remember correctly the entry for the main event was close to or about $500. What I witnessed on the first table was 3-4 allins immediately and the same players continued this for a minimum of an hour but I think longer than that. I got out of the way as often as I could and eventually was able to double up, but the blinds killed me when I went card dead. There were literally no hands that first hour or so that did not consist of a shove from one or two players. As I watched one of the players get knocked out 3 or 4 times with complete rags. Eventually all the ones re-buying (minimum of twice) and shoving every hand had 3 to 4x the stack of anyone else on the table and just continued pushing all in. I lasted 3-4 hours in that tourney somehow (if I remember correctly). Thing is the late reg for this event lasted about 10 hours or so. I think I remember cc member Tahoeden was also in this tourney but not sure if he experienced anything similar or it was just my table. But I did not look at it as unfair because the rules were explicit from the start so we go into these tourneys with eyes wide open. Grant it I did not put money up for this. And I would not purchase a ticket to an event like this due to the required bankroll needed for rebuys. Live I will play $100 - $200 buyins at mohegun sun and foxwoods but the re-entry (not R/A) is only for a short time (forget the structure since I don't get to the casino often), and I do not mind it though I don't re-enter myself (yet anyway). I usually just sit at a cash game until I win my tourney loss back and then some or bust. But the re-entry and R/A's do help the prize pool quite a bit when you only have 20-30 players so I don't mind it in these situations. Otherwise I just avoid them
