Honestly if a wealthier rebuy/reentering person keeps reentering, and better poker players keep busting them, having the wealth doesn't do that player any good.  Better poker skill goes a bit further than more reentries.  I usually play lower stakes than the ones in the article, and playing in a reentry tourney works to my advantage, not because I need to rebuy or reenter, but because I win more cash once the game is over because all the reentering players inflated the prizepool. If the tourney is also attached to some kind of leader board, then even the reentering players can benefit by earning more points on the leader board even if they bust out 3 times (or 7!).
