Maryland, USA may be the next state to legalize online poker

Senator Ron Watson of Maryland has drafted another bill to legalize online poker and gaming in the state. Watson has been a long-time supporter of online poker and casino gaming and has submitted bills for consideration in the past but state lawmakers were not having it. Compared to many other states, Maryland is quite open to gambling. It features sports betting that was legalized in 2021 and is currently still in development.
