Casino In Norfolk, Virginia

Several months ago, there was some news about a gambling Casino openning in Norfolk,
Virginia. Because I live in Virginia Beach, bout 6 miles from the area, I was excited. Having dreams of sitting at a live poker table,
with real chips and real players.
However, that was more than a year ago, and nothing else has been said about it.
Hopefully, we will hear some news about it soon.

I did a quick search and found a few articles from various outlets. It seems the resort and casino aren't expected to be open till 2024.

A few months ago, there was lots of news and activity about a Casino openning in Norfolk. After, getting all the locals excited, the news died down. And, no more has been heard about it.
Seems, there is some type of Indian Reservation here, which would make that possible.

Finally, the politician in Virginia passed bills to allow casinos to open in Virginia.

I'm not sure if this will lead to legal on line poker in my State of Virginia. I have not been very active in the poker world lately.
But, this was in the news here in my home town of Virginia Beach.

We will see.
