For anyone wishing to avoid the long registration lines at the Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas for the 2025 wsop, we have got an App for you! The app is called WSOP+, which allows players to register for events through a phone or tablet. The app also supplies players with other information such as a blind level clock, average chip stacks, the number of players remaining in a tournament and much more. The WSOP has also announced a new Circuit series in North Cyprus at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel and Spa. The series runs from October 9 to 21, 2025.
In December of 2024, the WSOP amended rules concerning the use of phones and other electronic devices. Now rules are in place for this year's summer series.
From the rule book: “Once Participants have reached the final three tables in any Tournament, all approved electronic devices must be removed. An announcement will be made to Participants once they have reached the final three tables to remove all such electronic devices.”
And during streamed events, the WSOP “reserves the right to remove all Participants’ electronic devices. Participants will only be allowed to have their devices back during breaks or after elimination.”
