It is a very interesting article for me as a woman, thank you for this CC. <3 I have to subscribe to this really, poker helped me to negotiate better and also to be tougher in daily things of my job. I feel less pushed around in the job as well, because I know, that even if I would lose this job, I could make enough money by playing poker. So poker gives me a kind of freedom of choice. :) So far, I played only around 5-6 live MTTs in the UK and I felt very safe there, I also can't complain about the behaviour of the men there. It was vice versa. The players and also the dealers were very lovely and ready to help. During the week were more younger men there and at the weekends there were also elder people there. Also a lot of couples. I was really amazed about this. Elder couples made their family trip to the casino there and I just thought, wow, how nice is this? :) Also families with younger adults were there, It was like going into the cinema. And I have to say, that I was also recently invited to a pure male home-game event. It was a lot of fun! Well, maybe I was just lucky so far about my experiences in a casino. I don't know. And so far I haven't been here in Germany. Who knows, maybe this will be different then. But for me the question arises now, is this something about mentality in the different countries, that women feel not so welcome at the tables or that they are not welcomed enough? Honestly, I think, it should be always like this, that the dealers shall be helpful. It is their job to be helpful in my opinion. And definitely, women should be welcomed at the casinos, at big events and also in poker rooms (a bad example is GG for me still). Women also contribute, that poker will be seen in a better light in society. And of course, they should get more time for such events and so on by their partners. This is something, that should be obvious if a woman plays a lucrative game and vice versa also for the man. Like in any job equality is important. And therefore also in poker. And it makes no sense to me to exclude women of this beautiful game by worse conditions...
