Terms of service have not changed.  Any winnings earned through freerolls are not accessible until you have deposited.  
Furthermore the freeroll winnings have to be rolled over 50% (is that correct) before they are eligible for withdrawl. Makes it difficult for players who do not play cash games, but they do count the tourney fees as 'rake'.

I asked them directly on the phone if they we could make a deal - if they would accept me directly giving them half of my freeroll winnings - in exchange for releasing the other half to me - but they said they can not deviate from the terms of service.  
Seems quite rigid - but I get they want that sweet sweet rake - lol that will take me years to generate.  This is even after I have made a min-deposit. Fortunately I have also been allowed to withdraw winnings I have earned from regular paid for events.  
I believe they compartmentalize funds earned.  Those earned from FR are placed in one basket and have to generate 50% rake before being placed in a basket available for withdrawal, as long as the player has deposited.  
Those won through regular events are placed in another basket and are available for withdrawal as long as the player has deposited.
