That is more or less religion, isn’t it? Hehehe
I would never buy a Mac. Am using an ipad Air Pro though, so it‘s not exactly because I’m allergic to Apple. 🤭
Or i use my work laptop. Anything will do, I guess. Even a mobile phone. 😜
I bet my daughter wouldn’t care about the brand. It just needs to be pink. 😂

I use an hp, nothing unusual about it, I think most computers will work fine for most poker sites. I always get windows because they are compatible with all sites,

Macs aren't always compatible so you may have to buy an emulator program for certain sites.. plus Macs are absurdly expensive already without having to buy additional programs

Any laptop with a core i5 processor or higher is fine and if you have a 4GB or larger video card... so much the better.

Get one with 32GB RAM, 4GB VRAM GPU and CPU that has 6 or more cores.

Batteries for laptops like these suck so there is that.

Are you in the habit of playing only one table and intend to continue with only one? If so, I don't think I have any problems, but if you think about increasing the number of tables, I suggest thinking about the screen size, although you can buy an extra monitor if you deem it necessary.
In the same sense, we can think about the memory, if the number of tables increases, programs to use while playing, this will all demand a lot from the computer, so it might be interesting to acquire a quality one.

I think one should buy the computer with the fastest CPU, most RAM, most harddrive capacity that you can afford.

Make sure the poker sites you want to play at - all have apple versions before you buy an apple.

Good luck !

I've been trying to change mine for 3 years, but my 11 children drink a lot of milk.😩😁🤣
My weakest simplest 2014 dell can’t run PS.
Well is working but it took 3 sec to every card be given to each player and dealt on the table in the middle so by the time everyone have cards and check button appear half time is gone

This is advice from a guy who LOVES Mac products -- I have a desktop, Macbook Pro, IPad Pro, IPad Air and iphone with probably all the accessories you can image -- and I am telling you to use Windows (and it physically pains me, lol). The reason for this is that there are a lot of sites that do not make software for Mac. Plus there are a lot of tools that are not compatable: Some HUDs are purely Windowns, I know that ICMizer, Flopzilla and some of the other tools only have Windows versions. I actually have a Dell that I had stopped using years ago that I drug put of retirement, upgraded and started to use the aforementioned tools on it. I do actually use my Mac for actual gameplay, but that is because I stick pretty much to ACR. pokerstars does run on there as well as BOL and Sportsbetting and since Replay is browser based, it is also fine on either.

cool, I wish I had enough $ to buy a Macbook Pro, IPad Pro, and Iphone - but they are absurdly expensive in brazil.

The actual diagonal of the monitor is not as important as the resolution. The larger it is, the more gaming tables will fit on it. Laptops with the following screen sizes are now popular: 13.3″, 14″, 15.6″, 16″ and 17.3″. The base hertz rate on many laptops is 60 Hz. The optimal hertz value for a poker laptop would be 120 Hz or 144 Hz.The vast majority of modern laptops have an IPS-matrix and it is ideal for playing poker. If finances allow and you want the best quality pictures, then you can take a closer look at OLED.AMD Ryzen 5+ from the 5.000 series. The best option from AMD is Ryzen 5600H and Intel Core i5 from series 11. The best option from Intel is the Core i5-11400H.

I do not know

But I also gonna buy a new laptop in the future . The one I gave is problematic .I have excellent pc , but it's no good to use it all the time for small stakes poker games . I have mobile but it's not so practical to use with poker Apps . Laptop is best .if I could turn back time I would have bought a new laptop instead of a new pc , $3.000-$3.500 pc useless lol

When buying a laptop, think about the configuration, the best value for money would be an 11th generation core i5, with 4ghz of ram, and 1 terabyte of storage, in addition to the video card that can be built into the processor.
I played poker on my outdated PC for a long time, but the architecture of the software changed and then the game application was no longer compatible with my old PC.
So if you are going to buy a laptop to play poker, try the best configuration possible, and the monitor the bigger the better, I work with a 15.6", and if I had a little more money I would have a robust pc with 24" of monitor, as screen size is a differentiator for poker.
Today leptops are much cheaper and better than desktop ones, my leptop is samsung, core i5 11th generation, 4ghz of ram and 1 terabyte and 16.5" monitor.
I could have built a desktop myself, but the cost is much higher, and since I have little money I thought it best to buy a laptop.

You don't need anything fancy for playing poker. 8gb of a ram and a decent processor would be nice, and if you can get a SSD that would also make a big difference. I have always stuck with Asus and Toshiba personally. Never liked hp/compaq

Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 10 just this week.

So if you are buying a new PC then you might want one with Windows 11.

Win 11 has it's own hardware requirements.

Game on a 14 inch DELL i5. I open several poker apps and play without problem. You don't need a high-performance notebook

Rocking a 17" Asus TUF Gaming pc. The graphics are sharp and it's fast for multi-tabling.
