Was playing 4 tables on stars this morning and suddenly everything froze up
and after 10 minutes I decided to shut down forcefuly by the power button.

After turning the laptop back on and logging into PS
all my customization options were gone
and had to do it all again.
On top of that I have to import hands for 3,5 hours in PT4
because its not displaying properly since the crash.

Hopefully I manage to get it working by the daily CC trnys start.

It didn't happened something like this to me in poker, fortunately.
But i've seen it happening at job sometimes, yes it is frustrating and you want to smash the monitor

I feel for you and i am hoping you will solve it THUMBUP

I regularly backup the image of the C drive. At any time, I can restore the C drive in 20 minutes

From what you say, it looks like your machine has overloaded.

But the funny thing that lost the data saved in pt4 right?

Could it be that your HD is not having problems?
If it is faulty, preventing the operating system from working properly, this crash can occur.

I advise checking!

This usually happens on older computers. It is possible even if your disk where Windows is installed does not have 10% free space or there is a virus. My site 888 sometimes hangs right at the table.

A friend of mine told me the exact same thing yesterday even the language of HH changed. It never happened to me but i believe in some situations its really bad to lose your hotkeys.. dont need to mention the time you couldnt play and the cards lost :/

always prepare before important game sometimes use restart cpu to refresh websites and if u wanna play on some tournaments after updated also recommended i had few times like these

Technology is a blessing and a curse at the same time. not even a real way to prevent it that I can think of

Problem with the computer, can happen, especially when it is an old hardware and old software. I think rebooting the system is a solution. The annoying is that these insidents are happening at some critical points of the game!

What happened to 4 tournaments? All bust?

Such a failure in the computer could have occurred as a result of bad sectors on the hard disk, on RAM cards, or it was a virus. You can check for bad sectors with programs designed for this. Windows itself has a built-in tool for checking the hard drive. If nothing is done, it may happen again.

It also happened to me at the PS that the machine crashed during the game so I had to reinstall the PS software after rebooting and all my settings were lost.

I don't understand because i have a problem with PS software.
When i log in and start playing it flashes but never crash
