While I was playing a tournament, I saw two users with similar names throwing objects at me. The idiot was taunting me, not suspecting that I was going to expose him. He has two accounts with similar names and the same country(multiaccount). He should be banned. Does anyone know someone who can help me?

They could be friends or a couple or partners who knows. This is one of the lowest value public freerolls on 888 and it's very possible that they are not even players with a verified account.

This sucks, my friend, especially for those of us who take poker seriously. Some see it as a simple game. This guy, having both accounts in cash and at the same table, already knew what cards were coming out and was eliminating chances.

I wonder why you came to that conclusion?
Because the first 5 letters of the screen name are the same and they are from the same country?
If you consider this to be evidence of fraud, then it seems rather strange. It would be a different matter if there had been some manipulation during the game, but then you would need to look at specific hands.

Both accounts were in collections, they never went after each other, they always threw things at me between the two of them, I don't know, there are so many things that I couldn't tell you, but I also have a good relationship with someone close to 888 and I sent him a private message and he told me that he was going to take care of it.

Just because they have a similar username, doesn't mean its's actually the same person

Could "Lakri" be some Danish word that both (If they are 2) players have chosen to start their username with, coincidently?
I have to say that you're not presenting any solid evidence, sorry. But I can be wrong of course.

Same table, same tournament, they only throw things at me, they only pass the bets between them and they don't try to take chips from each other, both accounts in collections, same country, SAME TOURNAMENT... DOESN'T IT SEEM TOO MUCH OF A COINCIDENCE TO YOU? .You'll tell me, oh poison, you're paranoid over there. The tournament lasted 4 and a half hours and in 2 hours they didn't try to steal chips from each other.
But above all, I don't understand why people get upset about this. If it's a coincidence, it's fine, and if it isn't, justice will be done. On the contrary, they should be happy knowing that there are people who make sure the rules are respected and that there is fair play for everyone.

It is, Lakrid is the Danish word for Liquorice.

Well, TBH I do not see any logic here: someone having 2 accounts named them with similar names + playing a cheap freroll + using similar emotes against the same person and bringing attention. That does not look like a cheat, rather kind of joke or "how you should not try not to cheat" model.

Of course the same table is the coincidence no matter if it was one or 2 persons, I guess you cannot choose the table at MTT.

Anyway, If you think it is a multiaccount, report it to 888 support, they have tools to investigate, checking IP adresses, behaviours etc.

Yeah its ambiguous, but the sooner you reach out to them the better. But its a possibility they just base their play because the find similarities in them and even that isn't fair play. So writing them is a good starting point.

Oh, that good old paranoia. 😅 Careful, or you’ll start thinking it’s all one big conspiracy.

Question for you...
WHY would two people who were actually colluding cheaters, choose a similar name? Wouldn't that be the stupidest thing possible? (aside from this thread I mean)

It's rare that it's the same person when you usually enter all your data to make your poker account, imagine that if a Norwegian moron has 2 accounts what the real online poker deceivers can do.

Its quite a stretch to assume, that those two accounts are related, just because the names are remotely similar. The names both relate to the danish word lakrids, which in english is licorice. But why would two players not independently of each other choose a name relating to this word? I play under the name fundiver199, but on pokerstars there is also a player with the name fundiver. This is not my account, and I have no idea, who this person is.

So I think, you are just chasing ghosts, especially since you saw those players in a freeroll and not some high stakes tournament, where you were potentially cheated out of significant money. My advice is to focus on improving your game and leave it to the sites to handle security, at least while you are still playing on this level.

I've found several nicknames that only change the ending, players from the same country, it could be a poker team, I don't believe in multiple accounts in this case, only if you noticed strange plays between them, suspicious open fold in the case between them, it would be one of those plays.
