Hello, i am mainly playing cash games online and i know say you have 100 buy in at 10 nl would mean you would have a roll of 1000$ and it would not matter if you open 4 table or 2 table or 7 table as long as you stay within the 100 BI limite,

i was wondering if the same goes for tourneys, lets say you have a roll of 1000 , should you devid your 10$ buy in into 5 tourneys of 2$ or like the cash, game you can go 7 tourneys at 10$ as long as you stay in the 100 BI range ?

I would say that if your roll allows you to play $10 NL that you can do so at multiple tables, and the same with tournaments. Keep in mind though that a bad session may require you to drop down in stakes faster than if you were single or double-tabling, but ultimately you need to play the games you are comfortable doing. If that means going down to play more tables, that might be the way to go.
