I already spent about two and a half months just taking Bad and without gaining practically anything relevant!:((n)
Such periods happen to each of us. Every player has faced such a problem in one way or another. The best thing to do in such a situation is to simply take a break and rest, have a good time.

In the long term, skill determines the final results of poker, but in the short term, luck plays a huge role in the results of a single session in a poker room. And sometimes the cards play against us for longer than we would like for some players, this losing streak in poker seems like a never ending nightmare.

I had a bad period of 2/3 months and i became frustrated and made bad desiccions. By that it takes longer to come back in the game

As you become more skillful and learn the game, the bad runs become less. Many times your own ineptiitude causes the bad luck. I have been there done that and got the t-shirt.

The cards were against me for a total of about a year, before that there was a very successful period. Now all losses are perceived differently.

It also depends on how many hands per day you play on average. Those who play very few hands a day can easily have such a bad period for many months in a row. And if the player is very experienced and plays thousands of hands a day, then the probability of a very long unsuccessful period tends to zero.

Also, if this is a cash game, then for many it may be beneficial to take an "all-in cash out" if this option is available in the room. It costs about 1% of the size of the pot, but nerves and a healthy psyche are more expensive! ))

I've been having a bad time since I started playing poker. But for me this game is just fun. As we say: I'm not lucky at cards, I'll be lucky in love.

Kinda in it atm. Losing pots with 70%+ equity back to back and getting set over set many times.

Possibly about 5 years ago... I stopped playing for about 3 months and when I returned to the tables it took maybe 2 weeks until I got into prizes again... that's why I don't take such long breaks anymore. lol

Well it depends what you can call as "unlucky period" - wouldnt be surprised if it still exists to this day after all these years

I used to keep a note of every game I played, which were mainly single-table SNGs, with the occasional full tourney, and about ten years ago I had a run of 32 without winning anything at all. I don't think that's ever happened since, though. I don't keep records now.

Usually my worst is around 20 tournaments in a row with no cashes and I step away. Typically though especially sng my longest is around 5 without cashing and then I’ll step away after 5

This is something I never measure, to be honest, I have had days where I couldn't win a single game getting busted out before the money bubble in every game I played, but if you remember the times your A/A gets beaten by a J/9 or similar in an all-in, you might never play Pocket Aces ever again.
Learn from your mistakes by all means, but don't dwell in the past, If your favourite hand gets beaten time and again, maybe it's time to stop having favourites and concentrate on the positives, not the negatives.
There could be a number of reasons for long losing streaks, maybe you are too loose and need to tighten your game a little, or you have moved up a level too quick and are competing with better players, whatever the reason you need to evaluate yourself, find where the problem is and correct it yourself.
Good luck in the future!

In these moments of bad streak is where we must be most focused and not get dragged down by that bad streak, stay focused on applying our game in the best way, leaving bad feelings aside, my streak right now is that I have been on for more than 1 month without qualifying for a good tournament:confused::cry:
