How important is table image in online games?

Your table image is very important if/when you're playing against decent villains as they will adjust to you image which mean you should also adjust to how they adjust to you. I always try to keep a TAG image(unless I'm having the deck thrown at me) that way my bluffs stand a much better chance of getting threw in big pots/tough spots and a TAG image keeps me from getting too many callers in a hand preflop.

Learning how to take advantage of how the table perceives you as a player is a skill many players don't ever think about or work on.

Without live streams, your image is based mostly on statistics and timing?

In poker, if you don’t see opponents live, you play based on hand ranges, probabilities, and betting patterns rather than physical tells.

Against pro player, table image is very important, but, if you are playing with recreational players, may not be important.
