Hello how are you friends?
I don't know if it happens to you, but every time I play more than one table at a time, I get the feeling that I lose concentration on my hands.
I think I lose information from the table and it doesn't help me make good decisions.
I would like to read your opinions.
Greetings and good hands.

Try to play at the same limit, get rid of everything that reduces your concentration, use a four-color deck and take the same place at each table and you should see all the tables.

I also can only really concentrate on one or two tables at a time, although I have played 9 at once, all freerolls, but that is too many, I time out and make mistakes.

I have problem with concentration at only one table, always reading some news or watching youtube while playing.

Sounds like you are getting bored while playing 1 table. Maybe go for 2-3 or even 4 tables. Keeps the brain occupied and focused?

In order to multi table you have to react rather then concentrate on what you will do when something happens.

Folks know what they're going to do with every hand before the hand is dealt, and they know if the hand is playable from whatever seat like when someoene calls, or raises it, if there are a lot of people in the hand before they act or etc, etc, whatever situation arises and they have the experience to know how the hand will generally turn out if they play it.

Once you know before everything happens or I should say, be able to appropriately "react" to situations then folks can play anything they're familiar with whether its holdem or 8 game. They shouldn't time out or make mistakes unless their strategies aren't sound but that's something for another post.

A tip for you is start play tables in different times, this way you have more concentration in crucial part of each table

Your focus is not going to be the same when playing several tables at the same time if you compare when you only play one table, that's impossible to change. But you can definitely improve your focus. After a couple of months playing several tables at the same time you get used to think fast.

I also had this impression before, but over time this feeling passed. Although I usually only play two tables, no more, I have now learned to be completely focused and playing two tables does not negatively affect my concentration or quality of play.

It’s technically true that you lose concentration multi tabling. It’s best to focus on one table at a time, but online that’s very hard to do.

I don't know how long you've been playing. Several tables really mess with the concentration. You have to get used to it over time.

Unless you're using different monitors, it also jams up the poker software on your device, trying to play that many tables AND you generally hold up a table(s) play doing that.

Multi tabling, is definitely not for the players that work out every hand and the variants before acting....

I really admire anyone who can play at several tables at the same time, I have two friends who are professionals, they can play more than 10 simultaneous tournaments!:eek::eek:

Hi :)
I play 3-4 tables and maintain concentration without problems. It was difficult for me before, but over time I got used to it. With experience and time, you will also get used to it, but do not stress for the sake of quantity, quality will always be more important :)

I think 6 tables is enough to play poker, but if you have the ability to concentrate with many more normal.

You must always control the situation at the table, therefore you must play the number of tables that you have will not reduce your concentration for me, for now it is 5-6 tables maximum

I agree. I’ve given up on multi tabling and turbos because I was making stupid decisions. I may go back to them but I’m much happier taking my time. It’s more similar to live then.

Your ability to multi-table is like almost every skill in life: a combination of genetics, upbringing and training.

The only thing you can improve now is the training part. Usually by adding one table at a time.

I went from playing one table to six in under a year. Everything over that is too much and stressful.
