At any time as you say. But I think there are certain mathematical probabilities for this that I don’t know exactly, but in reality and for some poker drivers, this probability still shows up a bit distorted. :D

I would not say that I have often encountered this. But if there were two reraises on your flight and maybe an all-in, I would consider whether to go further with such a hand.

Too many times 😱 It’s so frustrating when you play big field MTT and end up running deep. Then just before FT you end up in this situation with other deep stack. Hours of good work and 💰💵 goes to bin 🥲

Yeah, it definitely feels like it happens more than it should! Poker can be frustrating like that, especially when you're deep in a tourney. Just part of the grind! Keep going! 🙌

Very rarely. Like 1 out of 25 times you have AK.
Yes, whenever you get this situation it feels very unjust and frustrating. And it sticks to your memory. So you have the impression it happens very often. But it is a WRONG perception

I can only speak for myself, I rarely. But get 88 or a 77 it's the same thing because I also rarely get an A or a K.

Have you ever played in a tournament for 2 hours and never seen the top 8 hands. It can be very frustrating.

Well, if you are dealt AQ or AK, it should be a very low % of what you find KK or AA, however, in online poker anything can happen

With AQ it's not an issue for me, since I never go all in preflop with AQ (unless short-stacked or some special situations like calling extremely agressive loose player, calling no-look all in etc). When playing postflop you never know what is going to happen, as we all know perhaps 20% times we get to showdown, so I do not notice anything special about these cards. I struggle with AKo tho, I always have a problem if I should stop raising and when. With AKs I usually never stop raising up to all in. And yes I have a feeling I pretty often loose with AK after going all in pre, but I can loose to any pair not only AA/KK. So, no I do not have any special feeling I am bumping into AA/KK too often in such case.
I usually play deep-stacked cash games online (200BB)

It's a complicated question. But the concept of ‘constantly’ implies a certain systematic nature. And if this is true, then this is a nuance that you can use to your advantage. If you are sure that it happens all the time, then congratulations, you have an advantage over the rest of us :)

Variance of such monster hands facing off against each other is more common than people would believe.

52 card deck, 18 of these cards dealt out on a 9 handed table on each orbit - it runs so much that probability wise i believe its like 1 in 408 hands you will face AA if you are holding AK, so measured out - we play a lot of hands and on some days, the poker gods as we know can be cruel and we will run into such hands whether that be a 9 handed or 6 handed table or even heads up (the probabilities adjust for this).

How many times can I run into AA or KK when dealt AQ Or AK.

apparently all the time?
Depends on the preflop action. Though blockers are especially effective against pocket pairs, reducing their probability by 50%, so basically in a toy scenario where you shove AK and your opponent will call only with AA, KK and QQ, you will be facing QQ 50% of the time and the remaining 50% you will be up against KK and AA combined (as your opponent's range widens, the odds are getting even better from that perspective). AQ vs KK scenario is not that bad, at least you are not dominated and still have 30% equity, which is not much, but still.

But, honestly, I guess it is a memory fallacy, you will remember the times when you lost with AK against a top pocket pair much better, than when you had AK and won against worse hands.

Totally agree! Yes, the probability is indeed not as high as our perception paints it. We are used to expecting a good strong hand to win, but our expectations don't always match with reality. It is important not to get frustrated after such bad beats.

I can relate too good to your perception of always getting slammed with AA or KK. But in my case I mostly get frustrated by flushes. Either I am not taking enough care or they always beat me. I sometimes think that the hand rankings should degrade flushes to a lower value, as much I lose to them. Happens way too often. But I sure know, that it is my brain that makes me think this. Probably just need to be more cautious when the board looks like a flush draw. 😂

Feels like every damn time, but statistically you run into AA or KK with AK/AQ only about 1 in 110 hands. Of course, it always happens when it hurts the most. Just standard

If you're on a upswing then you'll beat both AA KK with AQo when the flop comes Q7Q all in the same hand 😆 ..but if your on a downswing then you'll be the one delt AA or KK in that situation...games all about skill you know! 😉
