WSOP Vegas 2025

I’m not sure how many CardChatters get to go to Vegas this summer for poker but I hope many of you do get the chance. I’m super excited to get there this year.
In the past I have only played one wsop event, it was a Circuit Event for a ring 2 years ago, and got 13th place and that was pretty exciting.
I try to get to Vegas two times a year for poker. I usually stay and play at the Golden Nugget during June because of the affordable daily tournaments there, but this year I didn’t really like their schedule.
So I finally am able to afford to play one bracelet event Salute to Warriors. It’s a $500.00 buy in with only one Re-Entry allowed. 3 day event if I can make it that far. The other tournaments I plan to play that week are the PokerNews DeepStack Daily Events. No bracelet if you win but you do get a trophy and a card protector. And they keep track of where you finish all week and they have a point system for that. Each week the top 10 point getters get a free seat into a $600.00 PokerNews Championship bracelet Event so that would be fun to win a seat for that!
Anyways , my dream is finally coming true this year to finally get to play all week at the WSOP.
I’m staying at Horseshoe the whole week, June 13-20th so if any CardsChat members are down during this time I would love to meet up and say hi.

I'll be in Vegas from June 19-30th, so I'll be coming in about the time that you're heading out lol. I'll be there mostly to spend time with family who lives close to the area, and will also be getting married on Wednesday, June 25 while out there. And might be doing some work for Ante Up Magazine as well.

I will be entering two of the events. Event #61 $500 Freezeout and Event #67 $300 Gladiator and will probably fire 2 bullets at that one if I get KO'd early.

If you are staying at or close to the Horseshoe, we might be able to run into each other, or maybe get breakfast before you leave on June 20, or a super late night snack when we arrive on June 19. That goes for anyone who's going to be there those days from CardsChat. I love meeting CC people!

Wow super cool! Congratulations on getting married that’s awesome! Good luck in those events! Sounds great hopefully we can say hi for sure!
