Stratosphere The Observation deck was a lot of fun and has some pretty awesome rides up there for a reasonable price. Only $10 to go up to the observation deck if you have one of their cards (which are free). Normally $20 and $5 per ride. Definitely worth going up to the deck at least. I heard the dining up there is awesome, too.. but expensive. But we didn't eat dinner up there. Just had their ice cream, which was good. When I signed up to play their $50 poker tourney, there was no one except 2 dealers and 1 wanna-be player sitting around talking. Absolutely no one was playing poker! I signed up for my tournament 2 hours before the game, then walked around. As I left to walk around some more, 2 other people came in to sit at the cash tables with the 1 player that was talking to the dealers and they had a 3 person cash game going. The tournament I signed up for had about 14 players in a near empty poker room. They had about 15 tables there, if I remember correctly. I would avoid playing poker at the Stratosphere and go to the Bellagio on the Strip or Golden Nugget on Fremont instead. With that said, Stratosphere is still worth taking a look at for the Observation Deck.
