Welcome to the Cardschat forum:)
Yes, I played a lot of live poker and live tournaments. One day I qualified via satellite and played in a $225 buy-in tournament, where the prize pool exceeded $35,000. I kept my seat for more than three and a half hours, but unfortunately I didn't have a chance to win. And the reason is that the tournament was rebuy, and full of reckless adventurers.

I participated in live tournaments several times, but unfortunately I did not manage to make it to the prize zone.

Yes. It was a $1M GTD sat for $120. I was in a position to double-up, so I shoved on the turn w/a K-high str8 and got called by a flush draw which was completed on the river. First place paid out to just a little over $250K. There's a you tube video of the ft.
Other than that, I entered a $300K GTD straight in for $300. My Q's got ran over by an AK, I know classic.

Have played about 20 tournaments with over a 100K prize pool and 4 of them 1st place paid out over 460K. They can be a lot of fun to play but when you playing multiable day one they are exhausting as can be. Hope you get a chance someday soon.

Recently just played $200+$100 add on rebuy tournament at Orleans during Memorial Day Weekend. Prizepool was $98,488. 1st place was $18k and 2nd place was $12k. 406 entrants. Unfortunately, i got 20th place for $1107. Only bought in once and added on once but it is still frustrating when you play for 13 hours and only win 3.5x ur buyin.

Yep multiply times, EPT (pokerstars), and at dusk till dawn (partypoker) quite a few in denmark too, as our local casino runs some with online qualifications.

I wish my bankroll was large enough to play large live tourneys. The highest prize tourney I played was PS ÂŁ100+10 at the Hippodrome London and unfortunately I bubbled. Played a bit too tight towards the end and finished 2 places from ITM.

I do play in my local Casino from time to time and my win % is quite high (around 70% ITM on MTTs), whereas cash games is a bit lower. Having said that, the amount of visits to the casino is fairly low (less than 50), so maybe win % is not so relevant.

The biggest I've played in was a ÂŁ250 tournament, but just tonight I won a ticket online to play in this years Goliath. Its ÂŁ150 buy in and is billed as the biggest poker tourney in Europe. This is based on number on entrants I believe. The total prize pool is estimated at ÂŁ1.5 million!!

Was one time in casino cash game $2/$4 and get Q3spade in second hand. ich fold pre flop after raise from opponent and had won with QQQQ :D after that i played tight for 3 hours and finished exactly with +/-0. It was an adventure but in the most cases to expensive. one friend lost 150, other friend won 400.

The most expensive live tournament I've played is $100 :D

I hope to have the opportunity to participate in a bigger tournament, I'm really excited to do a good ITM !

The biggest Tournament I have played, was in Coventry at the Ricoh Arena Casino, The top ten finalist's won a Las Vegas Package for a weeks holiday and the chance to win ÂŁ10,000 in the Grand Final, there were around 200 entrants and I finished in 45th place.
Disappointing but it was a dream of mine to go to Las Vegas, One dream I have given up on now as I really am too old to enjoy it. at 67 years old I don't even hold a passport any more as I have travelled around Europe a number of Times and seen many wonderful places, Even visiting the Pyramids in Giza once.
When the Fun Stops, STOP! (I did):)

I've practically never played live poker in my life. I've never played a tournament even with 30 people.
