So I went to play in my local bounty tournament today ($65 buy in). There were 96 entrants, I had 1 rebuy/re-entry ($130 total), busted 7 people ($20 per bounty, made $140 total) and made the money chopped 8 ways for 377 ea. bubble got $10 from everyone ($70 total)

A little after my re-entry, blinds are 75/150. Im in the C/O and limp in with 2s4s, and 5 of us see the flop. As 3s 5s, beautiful. Unfortunately it checks all the way around on flop, turn and river. No more spades came out, I guess I should of bet on river.

Everyone at table enjoyed that hand.

Pot was about 750 chips, what would you of done different? Should I of bet about 400 on river, or polarized a bet to about 1k on the river? Maybe bet 250 on turn?

I would have bet 250 on the flop. The flop is where your draws are most likely going to put chips in since there are 2 cards to come. Then check the turn and make a 150 bet on the river to either get a crying call or induce a bluff raise.

Nice result and nice hand!

I agree on making some small bets to built the pot and hope someone goes along.

That's exactly the reason why I don't limped pots: No one really feels committed, so often it's hard to get paid. But I know live is quite different.

If online it's difficult now in person, I really hope it was something where they went and all the plastic ended up on the table so you could eliminate several players at the same time.

Getting paid or not on that hand, it's still very fun to flop that. Congrats.
