Somehow I only saw this video now. And nah... I dont know, if any of this qualify him for the title of "biggest jerk in poker". I can think of several well known players, who in my opinion are better candidates for that title. Including Will Kassouf, Tony G and Phil Helmuth.....

If I'd commented on this before now I would have said the same thing:-

Probably not the 'kid's' finest hour, but was a long time ago and there are far more immature 21 year-olds in the western world than there are mature...

Some of the stuff I was getting up to at 21 makes this chap's beaviour look like being a boy scout in comparison, for example...

I'd throw Will Kassouf's name in the hat personally, or these days a lot of people seem to fancy Martin Kabrhel for the title although I don't think he is actually that bad, he clearly just rates the advantage gained when getting underneath opponents' skin- seems pretty obvious to me that his antics are purely tactical and getting annoyed with him is precisely what he wants you to do and so therefore is a mistake.

Lol. I would never wish *that* upon anyone. Kid's got more than I'd care to deal with on his plate. <3
You wouldn't wish being "the most generous, intelligent, funny, successful, and caring "diamond in the rough" any of you have ever had the privilege of being made aware of" on anyone..? :unsure:

I'm so confused!!! o_O :LOL:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~EDiT:- Actually, I change my vote... It's not Will's name I'm throwing in the hat...
Instead I'm going to throw in mine!
I just rememebered some of my live antics before I grew up (a little) people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones! :ROFLMAO:
My English is not very good and it's hard for me to fully judge his behavior, but if he threw a chip at someone in my country like that, his nose would be broken.:)
I had never seen this video before - but yes, maybe he is lol.
Well he was young. Don't think he's the same insufferable twat like in 2006.
Maybe he is ..I don't know but for me Will Khassouf stole Molina the title "biggest jerk" when he made his first cash at the wsop.
It's likely very rare anyone has consistently been a bigger jerk at the table than Kassouf has shown he can be...
Personally, the worst thing was the way he'd refuse to stop talking smack when action was on the opponent, as competitive as poker is, the vast majority are respectful enough to allow their opponent to think about their decision without being constantly berated or distracted. (n)
Yes that's exactly what irritated me the most as well. No respect for other players yet alone poker etiquette.
Kassouf is for sure a good candidate for the "biggest jerk" title. But with that being said some of his speech play was hilariously funny to watch. Like the hand, where he bluffed Stacy Matuson off an overpair on the river in the 2016 WSOP main event. Or the hand, where he outbluffed Vanessa Selbst in an earlier event. "9 high like a boss" will live on forever :)
Other times though we was clearly annoying even to the viewers. Like in the hand, where his KK ran into Bengers AA, and Benger went on a tirade asking Kassouf to "check his priviledge", which was totally out of line. Before that however Kassouf had continued to talk and talk, while both he and Benger were making their decisions. And when your opponent dont respond, you should obviously respect that and shut up, so that was not even funny to watch.
Some of his phrases also became old very quickly, like "lets keep the game friendly", "I am not bluffing", "how far from here to Hollywood" and so on and so forth. So I can definitely see, how he got under some opponents skin. But at the same time some people also let him get under their skin. Stacy Matuson basically made a bad fold, because she was scared to bust from the main event and got so short, she busted within the next orbit anyway.
....honestly if you want to be considered a jerk you gotta walk the walk and talk the talk, this kid can barely speak, can't hold a candle to Mike the Mouth or Tony G or even Will Kassouf, 9 high like a boss was hilarious and the more he annoyed the regs the funnier it was to me... this kid just looked nervous, anyone can trash talk Jamie Gold for crying out loud😎👍
Molina wins, is not afraid to show with a representative hand, there is disrespect for the infected, but she does her job and makes money from tournaments, her family is there and that's the main thing... support... her beloved family member.
