I’ve been studying and working on my MTT game lately, and I’ve realized how much of a difference fixing just one leak can make in the long run.
For me, one of the biggest leaks I fixed was not knowing how to extract value properly when I had top pair or an overpair. I used to check too often on the river or bet too small out of fear that my opponent would fold. Now I’m working on thinking about what hands can call me, and betting more confidently when I’m ahead.
I’m curious — what was the biggest leak you fixed, and how did it change your results or mindset?
