When I started, I wanted to play almost every hand just to see the flop, but that was a big mistake. Now I focus on being more selective — strong starting hands like AA–TT, AK–AT, KQ, and suited connectors in late position are my main range. I also pay a lot more attention to position, since playing a weaker hand on the button can often be more profitable than playing a stronger one out of position.
My biggest tip is to stay patient and avoid the temptation to get involved with every hand. The more disciplined I am in choosing which hands to play, the better my results have been over time.
