It is a good idea to take a break of couple days after a bad streak?? Or it is a better idea continuing playing even if we are having a bad time??

If you're having a bad time, I think it's important to stop for a while and study a little, analyzing your gameplay to see if you're playing in the best way.

It depends, how you feel. If you are not enjoying to play, and perhaps tilt sets in after even just 1-2 bad beats, then its time for a break.

Yeah you shouldn’t do anything you are not having fun with and having a bad time with. Taking a break can be very important and valuable, use that time away from the table to analyze your game and work on strategies, keeping your mind sharp is a skill that can be worked on like any other skill in poker. Good luck!

I guess it depends on each individual poker player... in my case, after 15+ years of playing poker, I've learned that taking (short) breaks even after winning streaks is always a good idea... actually, IMO whenever there are factors that can influence your game- anything that will stop you from bringing close to your A game at the tables- this should be a big red flag and you should stop playing and take a break!

You can play during bad streaks, but only if you feel good.

You should never play tilted

IMO not just a good idea, but a hella important idea. It's better to relax for a few days or a week and come back fresh, clean and with a good attitude, than spend that week grinding and make your mental state worse by losing more. It will just make you much more prone to tilt, which on its hand will make the bad streak even longer, causing you to be stuck in a positive feedback loop of losing, tilting and losing even more.

I never improved by taking time off.
eg. Tennis I lose a few games. Do I take a few days off and come back to the courts thinking I'll have magically improved somehow?

Yeah of course, especially if it affects your play. I use a few play sessions a week for studying the game. Evolves your game and keeps you fresh.
