I guess it depends on each individual poker player... in my case, after 15+ years of playing poker, I've learned that taking (short) breaks even after winning streaks is always a good idea... actually, IMO whenever there are factors that can influence your game- anything that will stop you from bringing close to your A game at the tables- this should be a big red flag and you should stop playing and take a break! It is a good idea to take a break of couple days after a bad streak?? Or it is a better idea continuing playing even if we are having a bad time??
IMO not just a good idea, but a hella important idea. It's better to relax for a few days or a week and come back fresh, clean and with a good attitude, than spend that week grinding and make your mental state worse by losing more. It will just make you much more prone to tilt, which on its hand will make the bad streak even longer, causing you to be stuck in a positive feedback loop of losing, tilting and losing even more.It is a good idea to take a break of couple days after a bad streak??
