Playing online seems more difficult than playing in person, even more so than I play at low tables, players usually bluff more, my only reference is the size of the bet because it makes it very difficult to read the players

In order to understand your opponents, you must first of all closely monitor the game and analyse the actions of absolutely everyone at your table. I think observation is the best way to understand your opponent.

People generally assume that smaller bets are bluffs. Although many online players will not fold any made hand, and often just A- hi, to any bet. They won't bet, but they won't fold either. It's a weird dynamic.

They also assume that delays mean indecision. This assumption is particularly easy to use to your advantage.

For me it's a combination of what I've seen this particular player do before, how he's betting/calling/raising right now, and of course the cards on the table. Some people actually do limp with AA and just keep check/calling all the way to the end even with a monster.

try studying preflop ranges, it helps you to understand what kind of hands the player starts, and would continue based on the board and bet sizes. Try checking more on microstakes.. they will put the chips in the center for you heheheh
