I have difficulty playing pro, many clubs sometimes favor those who play, do you have strategies or tips? Hold'em I'm already a regular and I'm getting better every day and I accept tips for Hold'em too

I had the same issue and the solution for me was just, stop playing at private places. The rake is worse anyway and there are other disadvantages.

If you want to make money with poker, trying to learn two games seems like a huge cost, so (assuming hold'em is your main game) if you can avoid PLO, you probably should.

I focused only on Hold'em and I don't think it's advisable for me to play other types of poker. Those who focus on one area make progress faster. Playing everything is definitely not for me.

I prefer Omaha, ... specifically like Pl08 and Omaha hi,

... like cash games and tournaments, you can build pretty nice pots,

if you're new to Omaha you can check out anything by Phil Galfond to get started😎👍

If the fish plays NLH, I play NLH.

If the fish plays PLO, I play PLO.

If the fish plays Badugi, I watch a movie.

PLO is a pain to learn and much harder to solve. Though because of that the player pool is much softer, so much easier to extract value from.

I prefer Omaha, but between the two, although I play more hold, I have more results in the PLO. So I'm going to Hold

Work on both. Get sick and tired of one then switch to another. Another way to avoid burn out.

And it depends on what games are available to you live or online.

As a general rule, youll get more rec players try holdem then other variants because they know it from TV or the media.

But youll be able to spot the decent folks as your knowledge grows.

itll be easy to spot folks like the holdem players thinking big pairs are good in omaha variants. jjj2 lol kk52 Aa74 etc.

And if you study one then your understanding of how to play the other will improve as well.

omaha by its nature is a flop game so if you want to learn omaha then youll have to consider and really study board textures. just like in holdem.

Pot odds, outs combos etc, may be different in one game but you need a general solid understanding of general poker concepts to do well in any variant.

Play them both.
