Using the hand history player? Therefore missing whats going in real time on the table?

If I want to look at a hand again, then I mark it in my tracker (PT4) and do my review, when the session is over. Very occationally I might replay a hand during the session, but only if I did not understand, what happened, and it bothers me. Like maybe I misread the board or something.

Sometimes if someone shows their hand I'll go into hand history to see how they played. But like you say it might be better to stay in the moment rather than reviewing whilst the action is happening.

I use it very rarely, maybe once a week I can watch a replay if I don't understand something, but it happens very rarely, and besides, if I watch a replay, I always do it in a separate window so as not to lose sight of the table.

Yep..... if something didn't make sense or I want to see how a certain player played, never ignore free info👍

I've been taking notes on bet sizes and card range. Trying to figure out the most relevant info as I go along

I don’t like to miss anything that is going on at the poker table. When you are not in the hand pay attention to what your opponents are up to, what hands are being shown down are gold and you don’t want to miss this. I would take quick notes on a hand if you need to review it later, but never take a hand off.

I usually play from two to four tables at a time and sometimes I can miss something, so sometimes I also watch replayed hands, although I do it quite rarely because I'm used to playing with focus and not being distracted.

I use hand repetition to see what kind of hand my opponent had and make notes if necessary.

It is always good to repeat and remember previous hands to study them later and to give notes to your rivals.

I look back occasionally, for example if I miss a big party.
But it is so ill-advised to do this continuously, as it can take your concentration away from future hands. So if you folded your cards, that's it, you have to close the chapter and open a new one, you shouldn't think, let alone annoying yourself, about what would have happened if...

As fun diver has already mentioned - i mark hands down to revisit, especially if its a player of interest to me that i already have notes on or that i have spotted an online tell on.
PT4 works well for me and i just need to use this more - hand history can be really important at specific times.

No. I just play the moment. I have a bad memore so for me its just a waste of time because I will forget. The only thing that I do is mark the player to find out if that player likes to go all in with any ace. Good luck at the tables

The site I play mostly on does not allow a poker tracking software but I do tend to record my play and make the time I want to review later if needed. If some ways this is actually more helpful to me. When watching a replay of my self I can make comments on my plays and what I should be doing at theat time to see if I player well. I have resolved several issues in my play this way.
