Many players overemphasize bluffing because it feels flashy or psychologically rewarding. At micro stakes players tend to call off more because they don't care if they lose.

Bluffing is often overrated at micro-stakes, especially at bad times. But it's not useless. It's nevertheless essential to vary your game strategically, not randomly.

BleBluffing is part of the game, but you have to know when and who to use the bluff against. There's no point in trying to bluff against the chip leader because he'll usually call.

In my experience, bluffing is often overrated in micro stakes — especially because a lot of players at that level just don’t fold. They call with weak hands, chase draws, and want to see the river, no matter what story you’re trying to tell.
I do think it’s still important to mix things up occasionally, especially against more observant players. But overall, at micro stakes, I’ve had way more success focusing on value betting strong hands rather than trying to bluff people off pots. Bluff less, value more — that’s been my approach.

Bluffing is very essential to poker.
Its like cooking a dish and adding a pinch of salt.
Exactly the same with Bluffing.
You cannot over do it.

Since the players at lower stakes are more "polarized" in their style, they are either calling (or raising) too much or folding too much.

It's your job to find out which one you are up against.

Bluff less against the former (calling station or maniac) and more against the latter (weak-tight or nit).

But in general terms against the whole population, you can get away with playing pretty tight even nitty yourself and bluff less than optimally at the nano- and micro-stakes.
