In my experience, bluffing is often overrated in micro stakes — especially because a lot of players at that level just don’t fold. They call with weak
hands, chase draws, and want to see the river, no matter what story you’re trying to tell.
I do think it’s still important to mix things up occasionally, especially against more observant players. But overall, at micro stakes, I’ve had way more success focusing on value betting strong hands rather than trying to bluff people off pots. Bluff less, value more — that’s been my approach.
