Thanks for the advice, I'm trying out different ways in micros, Toneos, Cash a little, but I'm focused on battle royals in GG, watching a lot of cash game videos too.Professionalism takes years of hard daily work. I would still advise you to focus on cheap MTTs and put cash games on the back burner. Cash games and tournaments are very different as disciplines. In cash you can lose much more in a very short period of time.

I've been on a seriously bad run 10 hours+ daily since Sunday, only spending 0.25c on Mystery Battle Royale & TS builder on GG, could not imagine what this would be like if I was Cash gaming, even at 0.2c. I do win 1st sometimes and final table but still running so cold mostly.

Majority of the poker players want to be pro's.
But realistically not everyone can become one.
There are so many factors attached with becoming a pro.

Are there any current so called "poker pros" that make their living only playing poker? I don't know of any.....they all have side hustles and jobs most that revolve around the poker industry(courses, books, schools and training sites). I doubt very much there are any real "poker pros" anymore that make a living solely from poker and NOTHING else.
So what's your side hustle/job gonna be?

Yes, there are quite a few of them, but they do not flaunt their winnings and wealth. And it's not just in cash games, but also in MTTs.

Google is your friend in this case. There is lots of free useful stuff out there.
Just don't fall in love too much with them. They are just a baseline from which you will have deviate every so often.

Idk but there certainly aren't any or many that most of us would recognize the names of. Cause all those guys have side hustles, courses, books, crypto, stocks and the list is endless. Then there are the criminals that launder money. I'm sure there's some miserable players grinding a miserable living at 1/2, 2/5 and 5/10.
A "poker pro" by my definition makes all his money ONLY from poker. NOTHING else.

Upswing poker has free preflop solves for MTT and Cash. I don't think they intend to keep it free for long so take some screen shots.

I disagree with this, and I don't think you would apply this logic to any other profession. A teacher who invests money is still a teacher.
I get where you're coming from though - a lot of vloggers etc... lose money from playing poker to get the content but make it up on the back end. These are definitely not poker pros. But some may be. (Not the ones losing money of course)

A "poker pro" makes his money only from poker. No side hustles. You can agree to disagree if you want but there are very few real poker pros by that definition.
By your definition I'd be a poker pro. I make money playing poker. Enough to pay for vacations, sim racing gear and to pay off 3 different cars early. Plus other things. I would NEVER define myself as near a poker pro. I'm not even the best or most recently studied player on these forums or even close.

If already well established pro starts a training site, sells merchandise, etc. what's the harm in that? He may not be a great teacher but If the demand is there why leave money on the table?
Did Michael Jordan become a lesser athlete just because people identify him with selling sneakers?
There is always money to be made but not all of it is earned at the tables.

I know and there in lays the problem of labeling anyone that can make a decent amount of money a "poker pro". Where does one actually draw the line? 50%, 60%, or 75% + of earnings from playing poker? And who's gonna trust any poker players word on what % of their winning is solely from poker. I'm not dumb enough to trust any poker players word completely.
Is a criminal a poker pro if comes in and makes a bunch of money while laundering money? The list of questions like this goes on and on. It certainly an interesting question and debate "what makes a pro player?"

You are so categorical!!! I don't think it's right to have a long discussion about this, but I am sure there are players who earn a living exclusively from poker and do not reveal their names; they avoid publicity, or rather, the hype around their name. This does not necessarily mean they are criminals. If you are really interested, you can look for quotes from top players who are well-known and who, without mentioning names (real names, if they know them, and even nicknames), talk about those who are in the shadows and have authority in the player community.

By the way, what do you think about Doyle Brunson??? He is a player, but at some point in his poker career, he decided to share his knowledge and wrote a book, and he also reviewed several books. What’s wrong with that? You are being very categorical – he plays and makes a living from it. Stop!!!

You should start with freerolls and build your bankroll. I am sure you will learn more if you loose your own money but there is also a risk of getting addicted if you spend too much enthusiasm. Thats what i can give you as an advice. My poker increased extremely after i started listening to others and reading books about poker. Before that i just kept playing and won sometimes. Probably thats the only good think about it, i earned experience during these years.
