Has anyone here become a poker millionaire by starting from zero? capitalizing on freerolls and becoming a poker millionaire. I have heard of a few cases like this, but have never actually met them in person.

I would think it would be extremelly difficult to do this, but there are people who have done it. Who have you heard of that did this? And no, I haven't met anyone IRL that actually accomplished this.

I don't think there are any players like that in our Community. Although I consider the level of players in our forum very high and have learned a lot from the best. In general, the idea of becoming a millionaire from zero is absolutely realistic, as there are many different promotions in poker rooms that give you the opportunity to participate in satellites for tournaments with high guarantees for free.

This is possible, but not exclusively with freerolls, you need to play cash game or tournaments with the freeroll earnings.

I’ve heard those stories too, but honestly it’s extremely rare. Freerolls can be a great way to build a small bankroll and learn discipline, but turning that into millions takes not just skill, but also volume, bankroll management and a lot of luck. Most “from zero to hero” cases you read about are exceptions, not the rule.

People, who are winning millions of dollars in poker, dont have free time to spend in poker forums. They are busy playing or studying many hours a day. So the answer to your question is, that such people exist, but you wont find them here. Maybe they did not start without depositing, but why does that even matter? The important is the end result, not if you initial deposit was $10, $100 or $1.000.
