IMO, one critical component to success is the ability to accurately and honestly evaluate your current knowledge and skill levels. It's extremely common for poker players to overestimate their skills and this will really hinder your progression, especially if you resort to throwing accusations of rigged RNGs instead of taking responsibility for your mistakes.
