Success in poker - skill or luck?

I believe poker is a mix of skill and luck. Luck matters in the short term, but in the long run, skill makes the difference.

I think success in poker is mostly skill in the long run, but luck definitely plays a role in the short term. You can't control the cards you get, but you can control how you play them, and that's where skill makes the real difference
