Which moment made you fall in love with poker?

My winnings were triple in freeroll, where I had no idea what I was doing. What is your origin story — the moment you realized that poker was your game?

Back in time I used to play poker with my friends, a real life homegame let's say. After that I saw some commercials on TV about pokerstars and that was the starting point. This was back in 2010

I always loved cards and my mother had taught me cribbage and gin rummy when I was six or seven. Westerns were big on television back in those days, and saloon scenes more often than not would have some people playing poker. When I asked my parents if they could teach me to play they did! We would play on Saturday nights for two hours beginning when The Lawrence Welk Show ended and Gunsmoke began. If I had a friend sleeping over they were dealt in as well. Those nice memories have been with me at every table I've played since that time.
