Unfortunately, I don't watch streams because there's a lot of talking, and if there are many tables open, I can't see the action well. I also can't watch live broadcasts—either my internet is bad, or something else always gets in the way. But let me share a real situation: this happened during our freezeout on GG. I started the game and gradually, waiting for a good opportunity, quietly lost my stack. In the middle of late registration, I had 12bb, and I was still waiting for a text from a friend. I decided that if I went for an open-push now and lost, I would just shut down my computer and go to sleep without waiting. So I did it, but the push turned out to be successful, and within two hands, I regained my starting stack. When I received that text, I was ahead of all the players and was the chip leader. I had to tell my friend that our conversation would have to be postponed because now I needed to win the tournament—which I did! Later, when I told him the details, we laughed for a long time!

It probably isn't the funniest moment I have witnessed but it was funniest period of online playing for 8 months. When I was playing online Home Games at pokerstars we had one member who was really lucky with cards and odds. He was hitting them like no one. If there was possible flush he had it, if there was possible straight he had it. Whichever hand you had when he was calling, you knew you are in big trouble. It was like he had some crystal ball near and knew that he is going to be ahead when the river comes.

I'm not going to mention his UN although I think he isn't here as a member but several members from here played there as well. I think they will remember him. :)

This fun time happened a long time ago when I was a newbie but everytime I remember gives me a smirk.
I was waiting for my tournament to start while watching a cash game table. There was this player who was talkative while bullying players going 3BB PF then shoves 30BB after the flop & blurting "Let's play its just poker!" Watched him do this twice when a player obviously irritated stood up & cashed out. They declared a seat open & I cannot comprehend to this day why I made a bee line to the seat. Waiting for my chips, the same player as usual shoved 3BB PF & I declared "Call". My chips just arrived when he declared a raise to 30BB after a flop of A28o. I pushed my 3BB call to the pot & while still arranging my chips the player blurted "Do you need more time to fold?" So in a rush pushed 2 big chips (100BB) while still arranging my chips. Everyone folded & he tanked for a while then mucked A2o claiming I had A8. Offered to ship me 5BB if I showed my cards but with hands on my cards pushed them to muck & asked "why don't you play, afterall its just poker". :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Here you refer to some funny or unusual situation and it has nothing to do with keeping your mind protected and prepared... you posted on the wrong topic, but the vision was very complete in a good and short text!

I can't remember them all but one of the funniest things online will always be when Chris Moneymaker sat staring into

space for what seemed like 5 minutes at the wsop....and everyone kept looking around and waiting... and he just kept

staring back through his reflective sunglasses.... and finally someone said it's your turn... he had no clue it was even

his turn, was just sitting there looking like a doofus staring into space , anyway every time I see him to this day

all I see is doofus, sorry not sorry😅 p.s this video still makes me lol👍

This is a really good one too! Old grandpa making the plays of his life

Personally I like how I played my first live tournament on vacation. I was prepared to win the 1st prize but unfortunately I had 0 experience and got knocked out my the guy on my right 🥲

I was seriously playing a tournament... when I picked up a pair of jacks and decided to open... The villain turned me around and I forged. He went all-in, I dropped out. Then he showed 5e2 of, I was so upset that I ended up having a laugh crisis and something tragic became comical! 🤣🤣🤣

Bubble. bluffing 72o on 3 streets and showing wind after opponent folds. Rage from opponent who had straight at chat or at emojis, my favorite feeling

I only play online and have chat turned off, so probably miss most funny things happening at the tables. A funny hand I played though was when I had 72o in the BB in a limped pot, bluffed river with 7hi, got called and somehow had the best hand.

I had a moment in a Saturday 888 Platinum tournament where there were about 15 players left. We were already in the ITM, but about 40% of all the chips were with me and another player who hasn't been in the cards chat for a while, but I won't mention his name. I had about 60bb and he had about 55bb, so we got involved in a hand with a 3x of his, which I called with A6o. On the flop, QQ5. He checked, and so did I. On the turn, another Q. Check-check again. On the river, another Q. So we have quad Qs in the community cards, and I have an Ace in my hand. So, at least a draw. So I went all-in and was instantly called by him. When he showed his cards, T7o. In the end, I ended up winning the tournament because the advantage I had over the others was huge. I spoke to him a few times before that on the old Twitter. I thought about asking what happened in that hand, I thought about making a post on the forum the next day but I believed it could generate some embarrassment or controversy so I gave up but to this day I'm curious to know what happened for him to make that move.

One time I was playing on my smartphone and my son climbed onto my lap. I had a silly hand. Something like 85o and Villain went all-in. Just as I was about to fold, my son climbed onto my lap and bumped into my arm, and I accidentally clicked call. All my chips went into that hand to call. I was furious with him, but every good poker player knows what happened...
In the end, my son won the hand for me with a set of 8s against Villain's KK. Poker is a game for crazy people.

I don't find anything funny about poker... because it's about blood and money. It's best if it's not mine... 😉

Some of the best memories in poker come from fun, unpredictable moments at the table. Whether it’s a clever bluff that fools everyone, a huge pot that turns around at the last second, or just laughing with opponents over a funny hand, those experiences make the game more than just a competition. Poker can be intense and strategic, but it’s those shared moments of surprise, creativity, and camaraderie that keep players coming back and remind you why you fell in love with the game in the first place.
