With solvers, training Apps, and even AI-based assistants becoming more common, I’ve been wondering whether they are actually improving the poker ecosystem or making it tougher for recreational players. Do you believe they are leveling the field by teaching fundamentals, or pushing the skill gap even further?

poker tracker , holdem manager , etc are ruining the game on the online sites that allow trackers . if you dont use them youre at a definite disadvantage . study all you want with solvers away from the table , thats fair enough , but using software and charts while you play just isnt right !

It's too late to put the genie back in the bottle. RIP online poker as an easy way to earn money..

Playing because it's fun, just to play, or earning some pocket money is still possible at the lowest levels without assistance, but good luck winning at over 100NLH (you need it).

That’s a really interesting question. On one hand, AI tools can help players study and improve by showing optimal strategies and revealing leaks in their game. They’ve raised the overall skill level and made the game more competitive. On the other hand, if people misuse these tools in real time, it creates unfair advantages and can hurt the integrity of the game. So I think it depends on how they’re used—great for learning and growth, but potentially damaging if exploited at the tables without regulation.
