A regular deck of cards can be used for tarot and that is why many different religions condoned playing with cards. Some still do <3  <3 <3 Spades/Swords, Clubs/Wands, Hearts/Cups, Diamonds/Coins, but no Major Arcana cards. Wheel of fortune, The fool, tower etc.
