It all started when I walked into the casino thinking today was my lucky day. I headed straight for the blackjack table, bought a small stack of chips, and felt confident. The first few hands went okay, then I got dealt a pair of 8s. I split them — the first hand drew a 10, giving me 18, and the second hand drew an Ace, giving me a soft 19. Both hands looked promising, and I felt like I might actually get lucky for once.
I took a deep breath, trying to focus, and just as I started to feel in control, I noticed the dealer acting strangely — frozen mid-shuffle, staring at the cards like they had seen a ghost. My hands were steady, my bets placed, and for a moment, everything seemed perfectly normal… and then, suddenly…

...I'm hearing a voice behind me calling Daddyyyy! I thought nothing of it. I'm not a father I don't even have nieces or nephews. But the voice kept growing louder and louder and finally I turned around.
A girl, maybe ten or so was standing behind me holding a small handbag and a miniature teddy bear, looking like she had seen a miracle. I said, where are your parents little girl?

The little girl pointed towards the dealer who began to speak very very fast a language I never heard before. My neighbor started laughing, visibly understanding what the dealer just said. He translated to me:

He said "little girls are not allowed in the casino, she will have to leave"

Then she said "I am not a little girl, I have that benjamin button disease"

What the dealer, who was her father, had told her — namely that when he is at the gaming table she is not allowed to talk to him, unless it’s urgent! She looked at me with innocent eyes, took a few steps toward me and said:

She said "Are you winning?" I said I have not been here long. "Oh" she said - "well would not plau this table, cos my dad cheats for the casino". I looked at the dealer and he said

"Oh never mind her, she is a compulsive liar and a chronic fantasist!" rebuking the claim. The dealer shifted uncomfortable at hearing his mature, yet fresh-faced daughter make such an insinuating comment, but also because the tight Victoria secret lingerie underneath his uniform was chaffing him considerably. Yet another secret that he did not want exposed to neither the public or the Casino management, just then ...

then the little girl vanished in front of everybody, the only proof of her presence was a night slipper adorn with a teddy bear, red flames gushes from the floor, Was the little girl a young master of magic power?

The dealer was staring at me, waiting for me to act on my hand. The previous hand was over; I must have won it. I didn't remember placing the bet for this hand. What had just happened? Everyone at the table was acting normal, including the dealer. Had I dozed off for a minute and had a crazy dream? I shook my head and looked down at K5. The dealer was showing a .....

Blackjack, the dealer then said "You snooze, you loose, and next time can you please refrain from snoring" to that I replied, "But sir, I do not snore" he replied, "Madame, your snoring is louder than the Liverpool FC fans singing You'll never walk alone" I then turned to the pit boss and......

When i watched him to give a complain, i saw he was already watching me and nodded that it was true about me snoring.
I then quickly shook it off and focused back on the game where i saw i was dealt AA. I was contemplating on splitting or not because the dealer had a 6, but then....

I snapped out of it when the two aces I had split turned into blackjack after the dealer dealt me two cards, and from behind me a familiar voice shouted: 'Dad, I lost my slipper and I didn’t even notice when it came off my foot because it was so light that...

it just fell off, and Mom says to tell your it is time to come home to quit trying to take these nice peoples money, to which Dad said, ok enough of this foolishness, I am here doing my job and it is only by chance that I am winning for the house, andI really don't know you little person, so get lost, to which the girl said "...

oops sorry, you wear the same neon pink thigh high boots as my dad, I'd best go and find him before he starts making a scene saying trying to get into the stage door of the Sphere saying he's a showgirl, with a tut and shake of my head I looked down at my stack and noticed ....

I had an extra 5,000 chips in my stack, so i decided to report what had happened. Since the tournament had just started, it was obvious that the chip wasn't mine. After that, the chip was handed to the player next to me. He turned to me and said:

I'll flip you for it, just as he said that, my dad, in his neon pink thigh high boots was walking past and the player next to me asked him if he would toss the coin. Dad being dad couldn't pass up the opportunity to be a the centre of attention, so he agreed, so in the air the coin went.........

…Dad did a twirl, flipped his hair, and struck a pose so perfect it could have made Brittany Spears and the Queen Beh cry. The coin spun in the air, glinting under the casino lights, but I wasn’t even looking at it anymore. Something about the whole scene hit me sideways. I see just the little girls eyes, winking??!!

My head swam. That’s when it clicked.

Wait. We did do a whole bunch of drugs before walking in here, didn’t we??!!! Either way, Mitch Hedberg and Hunter S. Thompson would be proud of my consumptions — reckless, colorful, and poorly timed. The walls looked like they were breathing in and out with the rhythm of the slot machines, and I swear the blackjack cards were whispering to each other.

I waved down the cocktail waitress like a man clinging to sanity and croaked out my order:
“Orange juice, please. Make it a double.”

She gave me a look like I had just asked for sunscreen in a thunderstorm, but she brought it anyway. I wrapped my hands around the glass like it was holy.

Only, when I lifted it to my lips…

I realized this wasn’t orange juice at all, this is tang instant breakfast drink. I thought why would this waitress try to trick me like this, why did I have to do all those drugs before walking in here, why am I wearing thigh high boots? Penn and Teller walk past me, and Teller, who doesn’t talk, just laughs at me, Penn says “Hey man, are you ok?” I say…

"Shut up please, let me sleep!", but my wife insisted: "Come on, get up, you're already late". That was when I realized that everything you've read so far only happened in my head, which was on my shoulders, under the covers. But gees, what a hangover!
I hurried up to work, no shower, no breakfast.
Then the surprise! The little girl was calmly sitting at my secretary's desk! As soon as she saw me, she shouted:

"Shut up please, let me sleep!", but my wife insisted: "Come on, get up, you're already late". That was when I realized that everything you've read so far only happened in my head, which was on my shoulders, under the covers. But gees, what a hangover!
I hurried up to work, no shower, no breakfast.
Then the surprise! The little girl was calmly sitting at my secretary's desk! As soon as she saw me, she shouted:

" I knew you would win the coin toss for the 5000" and she handed me $5000.00. I thought to myself, OK you are still asleep and this is all just a crazy Dream, I was convinced this was not reality. All of a Sudden a man walks in wearing, yes you guessed it, Pink Thigh high boots. He was dancing around like a Fairy and shouted out at me...........................
