Does anyone know , if you wanted to keep money at a casino , how do you create an account . This way you don't have to walk around with any winnings you have when you are at a casino you just put the monies in an account.

You have to open a marker. Talk to any casino host about it.

It usually involves running credit and they prefer large markers of at least $10,000.

Now if you're just talking about a safe place to keep your money without having to walk around with it, I've never heard of that. casinos probably don't offer it because they want the money in your pocket where you're more likely to gamble it away.

Casino's don't want your money in a safe place sir. They want it inside a machine.

They do a couple of things for certain situations. If you win a large amount at that casino you can have a portion of it paid by check, most casinos are in or tied to a hotel you can request a room with a safe. Or some do as mentioned above you can get a marker, or line of credit which doesn't have to be credit at all? It's absolutely possible to send a ACH or Wire transfer usually $25000.00 minimum to the casino that they will credit you chips, tickets, cash for. Then when you leave or cash out whatever you don't take with you in cash they will return by the same method. Contact your host or hostest to set it up

It has been many years (early 80s), but I opened a line of credit for $10K over the phone. The process was much the same as applying for a credit card. No money was put up front. When I sat down to play blackjack, I took a marker for $500 at a time. If I left the table with winnings, I would buy back my marker, but took the winnings in chips, which get cashed and stuffed in a pocket. As mentioned above, casinos want the money easily accessible to you to lose it, not salt it away to take home.

Then they want it on a poker table!

Seriously though, if you're not wanting to walk around a casino with a bunch of money in your pocket, a money belt isn't a bad idea.

I use a money belt when I travel to Europe. I keep my cash and passport in there along with my slim wallet that I use for traveling. The money can't fall out and nobody can get to it.
